Tegate Netball Club
Tegate Netball Club was started in 1986 by Carol Bull. The club started with one team and now has 20 teams varying in ages from school year 3 up to seniors, with over 170 members!
Tegate pride themselves on promoting 'Netball for all' and are happy to welcome players of any age and ability.
We take players from school Reception year so that they can develop their skills and athleticism from a young age.
Tegate start match play from Year 3-5, playing High Fives and from year 6, 7-a-side through to Year 11 in several local junior Leagues.
Our Senior players represent the club in the East Region Clubs Competition where we feature in Division 1 and we play against sides across East of the Country. The East Region League is part of the National competitive structure and this league feeds into the National Premier league.
Our qualified coaches are accredited to UKCC levels 1 and 2 and are First Aid trained and several of our members are Level B and C qualified umpires. The club has Sport England Clubmark accreditation through the England Netball CAPS process and we have a Safeguarding policy and all coaches and support personnel hold valid DBS checks.
The club has a privacy policy as required by the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 and a copy is available.
