Norwich City FC join Mark Hall Sports Centre
Posted: 25th March 2021Mark Hall Sports Centre has secured a new signing.
Norwich City FC is holding its first ever regional soccer school in Essex during the Easter and Whitsun holidays.
The Regional Development Programme will be held at Mark Hall Sports Centre, in Harlow, which is due to reopen under BMAT in line with the lifting of government restrictions.
Boys and girls aged four to 12 will be able to take part in football coaching delivery, involving technical practises, coaches’ challenges, ball mastery topics and small sided games.
Alex Kaufman, managing director of the Regional Development Programme, said: “The facility at Mark Hall Sports Centre is the perfect fit for us to provide a professional and fun learning environment for the children on a fantastic 3G surface and state-of-the-art facilities.
“During our first soccer schools, children will be involved in a variety of age-specific sessions working on techniques such as dribbling, finishing and skills and tricks. There will be a variety of coaches’ challenges and small sided matches to put all the skills learnt during each day into practise.
“The courses are limited for quality purposes and small group sizes – our Easter camp has already sold out, so we suggest booking up for Whitsun half-term fast! This will be a fantastic chance to finally get out and play some sport after a difficult period.”
There will be opportunities to attend invitation-only development programmes as a result of the school.
